Lucky Day | Sneak Peek

Happy Wednesday, friends! I’m back with another little sneak peek for you. This time the sneak peek is all about St. Patrick’s Day…which will be here before we know it! LOL!

This adorable little pooch and sentiment will be available this Thursday…along with the beautiful decorative paper. I added stickles glitter to the 4 leaf clover and background. The ribbon is from Papertrey Ink. I used my Treehouse Copic Marker Kits to color in my main image. He is also put up on dimensionals and so is the scallop circle. :)

Just a little note… | Sneak Peek

 

Happy Tuesday, Friends! I hope you are having a nice week thus far. I worked really hard this past weekend to get all of my cards made for sneak peeks this week. LOL! I feel like I’m always behind and even more so since Grant arrived in August. :) When Stephen is off on the weekends…I always try to get some “Ashley Time” in so that I can get caught up or at least attempt to get caught up again. LOL!

Here is another springy sneak peek just for you. :) I absolutely LOVE this background paper from Cosmo Cricket. This paper will be available on Thursday at Treehouse Stamps too. I used my Treehouse Copic Kit Markers to color the main image. I added lots of stickles to the clouds, flower, etc… I added some faux stitching and little dots with my white gel pen. I also used my nestabilities on this card…but I think I use those on every card these days. LOL!

I’m ready for Spring…How about you?

Happy Monday, Friends! I hope you had a lovely weekend. We were sad to see our Indianapolis Colts lose the Super Bowl, but happy that the Saints win just the same since they had never been in the Super Bowl until this year!

Well, this Thursday will be Treehouse Stamps February release! We have tons of new images coming out, new digi papers, and lots of new products. It’s going to be awesome. :) I just wanted to share a sneak peek with you of this adorable little raccoon. I was inspired by Spring! LOL! I’m so ready for warm weather so that I can take Grant for walks and just work in the yard again. I couldn’t do it last Spring or Summer since I was pregnant. LOL! This adorable stamp, dew drops, and decorative paper will be available this Thursday, February 11, 2010 @ midnight.

A Little Miracle…

Happy Saturday, Friends! :) Here is my 2nd Card for today! :) Can you believe it?! LOL! I actually made this card weeks and weeks ago, but just am now getting it uploaded and edited. Some of our best friends, JR & Summer, were expecting their brand new miracle at the end of February. BUT… like Grant she decided to come early! She was born on January 24, 2010. She was 6lbs. 12oz. & 18” long. She is absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, Stella’s lungs were still premature. She had to stay in the hospital for almost two weeks to allow her lungs to develop before she could go home. JR & Summer didn’t even get to hold their miracle until 4 days after she was born. When I found out about that…it absolutely broke my heart. Stella is FINALLY home and I’m sure her family is beyond happy and blessed to have her home. We could have very well went through this situation ourselves with Grant being born at 35w 6d. Little Miss. Stella had a million prayers sent up for her and now she is home and doing wonderfully! :)  Below are a few pictures that JR & Summer posted of Stella during her stay at the hospital.

I made the baby card for Stella using a new digital stamp set called, Little Miracle. It will be released on January 11, 2010 at midnight! :) I love the stamp set so much! The bear is SO CUTE and the babies are adorable in this set too!!! :) I used Basic Grey Chipboard Letters for Stella's Name. :) You can also find the background paper at Treehouse Stamps now. :) I added lots of glitter and dew drops to this card. HOW FUN! :)

Wish You Were Here | New Images from the Greeting Farm

Happy Saturday, Friends! I hope you're having a lovely weekend so far. It is snowing here & I'm sure some of you are getting snow too if you're hear in the East US. :) I decided that I wanted to take some mommy time tonight and stamp a few different cards. I wanted to share this one with you first. I love this card SO MUCH! I love how the layout turned out with the adorable new paper from October Afternoon. :)

If you pre-ordered images from The Greeting Farm...they have arrived! I will be shipping  them starting today! I have extra if you'd like to place an order for them. :) I absolutely fell in love with this little girl fox when I saw her. She is just SO CUTE! :) I used my Treehouse Copic Kit markers to color in my main image. I added stickles to her to make her shine a little. I thought an added little touch were the 5 little dew drops. Love them! The card says "Wishing you were here." I'm going to be sending this card to my Nana Everhart who lives in Ohio. She's a little over 3 hours away and I miss her so much! I'm afraid if she doesn't stop working for a second and come visit that Grant will be fully grown the next time she sees him. Maybe I should schedule a visit with her when it is a little warmer outside and we don't have to worry about SNOW! LOL! :)

THT Challenge #035 | A Little Sneak Peek!

Happy Thursday, Friends! I hope you're having a WONDERFUL week! :) Here is my card for today's Treehouse Thursday Challenge featuring Anne Harmon. We were to use the color combination: RED, WHITE, & PINK.

This happens to also be a little sneak peek of some new digi stamp sets coming out on February 11, 2010 by Treehouse Stamps. :) I absolutely LOVE this flower and the wonderful sentiment.  I used my copic markers to color in my image. I added stickles glitter dots to the center of the flower, the grass, and the dots in the background. You can now find this adorable decorative paper at Treehouse now too. :)

I hope you love it. I have a crying baby in the other room...so I better go help daddy calm him down. LOL!

Treehouse Thursday Challenge #034 |Featuring Kelly

Happy Thursday, Friends! Here is my card for today's Treehouse Thursday Challenge!! :) We were to use a Butterfly & Flowers! :) Today's Spotlight DT member is on Kelly Hampton. I cannot believe Kelly's strength and endurance! She broke her arm & is still stamping! How amazing is she?!?!?! So...make sure you head over to The Treehouse Blog & Check her out!! She even posted a picture of her arm in the purple cast! LOL! :-)

Mr. Grant Thomas helped mommy with her card today! I would give him choices of paper and images and he would grab the one he liked! It was hysterical!! Of course... he thought it was food and he tried to take it straight to his mouth, but it was still fun! :-) It isn't always the easiest thing in the world to do...stamping with a 5 month old in your lap! LOL! He's so active these days! :)

The images used in this card will be released TODAY over at www.TreehouseStamps.com! They will be available at NOON! :) They are actually digital images, but SO MUCH FUN! I absolutely love them! The decorative paper will also be a new item that will be available for purchase!

I hope you love it & like Grant's favorite picks! :) It's 12:40am here and I can hear him in the living room talking to daddy! LOL!! Here is actually a video I took of him tonight talked to daddy & I caught his little laugh on camera! A few nights ago he was laughing up a storm and I got so tickled that I could hardly breathe. Happy Tuesday, Friends! :) I hope you had a great day! Here is another card that I made SEVERAL days ago! LOL!!! I color when I'm watching Grant, watching TV, cooking dinner, etc! Then I try to find quick ways these days to get the cards put together at least one day a week! :o)

I used one of our new Digital Images "I LOVE YOU" for this card! I absolutely love this sentiment! :) I used regular Crayola Crayons to color the image! :) I added glassy glaze on the heart! :) I also added some stardust stickles dots to the background! :)  Super fast & EASY!!! :)

Our Weekend & Prayers Needed! :)

Happy Monday, Friends! I hope you had a great weekend! Ours was SO BUSY!! I enjoyed spending time with my little family. We had a birthday party on Saturday and then went to an Indiana Pacers game in Indianapolis, IN Saturday night! :) Our friends JR & Summer Keith welcomed their beautiful daughter, Stella Grace, in to the world on Sunday!$ She is 6lbs. 12oz. and 18" long!  She actually came a full month early...just like Grant! She has been having a few difficulties with her lungs not being fully developed. She is currently in the NICU. Please keep them in your prayers!

Here is a 6"x6" card that I made Saturday morning before Grant woke up! LOL! I used the new bear from the "beary birthday" digital stamp set!! :) I LOVE that bear. I actually colored him with regular 'ol crayons! LOL! You can find all products used in this card on the Treehouse Stamps website! :)

Lilly's 1st Birthday! :)

Happy Monday, Friends! I hope you're having a beautiful day...or night I guess it is here now. LOL! My friends daughter, Lilly, turned 1 this past week. We all celebrated her first birthday together on Saturday. It was so much fun! Grant absolutely LOVES balloons! I loved watching her dig into her first birthday cake! LOL!

Happy Treehouse Thursday, Friends! I hope you're having a beautiful day! I wanted to share my project with you for this weeks challenge. I decided to use a large image of the Hugs and Kisses image from our new Chocoholic digital stamp set! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this set!!! I used two of the new decorative papers available in our hearts & dots digital paper pack! I Absolutely love how it turned out. It will make one of my friends day much brighter! :)

I also created my own template to make this adorable little treat box!!! :) It turned out perfect and I would love to share the template with you! CLICK HERE to email me! My Mom's Birthday Card

Howdy friends! I have made a few cards lately and haven't had much time to get them posted! I wanted to first share this fun card with all of you. I made this card for my moms birthday! I absolutely love how it turned out. I used the delicious looking cake from Treehouse Stamps new Digital "CHOCOHOLIC" stamp set!!! :) LOVE IT! This is probably one of my favorite drawings that I've done in a long time! :)

The adorable background paper is also from Treehouse Stamps! It is in our "Hearts & Dots" digital paper pack! I used my copic markers to color my image and added LOTS and LOTS of stickles! :) LOL!!

Here is my card fro this week's Treehouse Thursday challenge!! :) This weeks challenge was to use circles. I used my nesties for the circle and the scalloped circle. I also added some dotted ribbon and some white dots on the scallops. Plus circle glitter dots as sprinkles on the yummy cupcake! :) I hope that you will join us this week in playing in our challenge! I have been in the Valentine card making spirit lately. LOL! I used lots of new goodies that will be released this THURSDAY, January 14th @ midnight over at Treehouse Stamps. The adorable Hugs & Kisses image is a part of a new DIGITAL stamp set called, "CHOCOHOLIC!"

Sneak Peeks & New Logo

              Happy Sunday, Friends! I hope you're having a wonderful weekend thus far. :) I've been extremely busy trying to catch up with company stuff. I feel like I get so behind on little stuff during the week. Grant is the love of my life, but you any of you that work from home & have had a 4 1/2 month old at home with you all day...understand! LOL!!!  I'm excited to show off our new fun and creative logo! I thought our old one needed a little change. I love the bright colors of this logo. I hope you do too! 

So, our next release will be this coming Thursday, January 14, 2010! I am so excited about this release. All of the stamps are in digital form. I will have a video showing how to use digital images. I hope that you will love them too!! We have also added TONS of new products to the store. I hope that you will join us in getting excited about these new stamp releases! Happy Tuesday, Friends! I hope you're having a wonderful week so far! We are freezing here in Indiana. LOL! I'm sure most parts of the country are this week! I thought I would warm us all up with a nice hot latte!

Simple Picture Frame

   Happy Monday, Friends! I hope you had a lovely New Year's weekend! It's amazing how fast 2009 went...don't you think?! I was blessed with the greatest blessing of my life in 2009, Grant! He is the love of our lives. I look forward 2010 and watching him grow, learn, and change. :) What an amazing adventure!

I decided that I wanted to make a winter frame for one of our family Christmas photos. Of course... Grant wouldn't smile for the camera in any of our pictures...except that ones that I took! LOL! Oh Well! :)

I decorated a cardboard picture frame. I can't remember where I bought the picture frame. I believe Walmart or Hobby Lobby. I decorated the frame with paper from Basic Grey called Wassail. I love the snowflake paper so much!! :) I decided to add a little scallop medallion with the $1.00 spot polar bear and the word believe. :) I added lots and lots of stickles glitter to this project also! I hope you love it!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE!

Merry Christmas Eve, Friends!! We hope that you're having a beautiful week! We will be going up to my dad's parents for Christmas this afternoon. Then back to my parents house to celebrate Christmas and open gifts at MIDNIGHT! Yep Midnight! It's a tradition! LOL! Then we'll be back home to open presents Christmas morning with Stephen's family at our house. Then 2 more Christmas dinners Christmas day! It's a busy few days, but we love every second of it!! I just wanted to share a few pictures from Grant's first time sitting on Santa's lap today!! LOL! It looks like he's interviewing for the "Cutest" reindeer position! LOL!!! Personalized Stationary

Happy Wednesday, Friends! Here is another project that I've been working on...LOL! I'm making some simple stationary sets for a few family members & friends. You can never have enough little cards around the house in my opinion. I feel like I'm always looking for a little card to write a quick Thank You card, birthday card, or just a quick note to someone. :)

I ordered this beautiful stamp set from Taylored Expressions. It's called "Discover Your Wings." They donate 7.00 of each set that sells to Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep foundation. After reading about this foundation...I HAD to buy this set. After suffering a miscarriage in September 2008...I can't even imagine dealing with the loss of a child in that way. All these parents have to hold on to are the memories of their babies. It made me cry instantly...and I knew I needed this stamp set! :) Plus...it is a beautiful set in every way!!! Taylor, if you're reading this... I # this set girl! :) I hope that you love this creation! More to come shortly! LOL!

Paper Pinecone Ornaments | 2009

Happy Wednesday, Friends! I hope you're having a beautiful week! :) Are you ready for Christmas? I have all of our Christmas presents wrapped and under the tree. I believe 95% of them are Grant's. LOL!

I've been busy this week trying to work on the handmade gifts that I haven't finished yet...which is most of them! LOL! I have been working on making these paper pinecone ornaments tonight while watching "Made of Honor" and listening to Grant coo at the television. LOL! SO CUTE! I love making them and look forward to it every Christmas.

Happy Saturday, Friends! I hope you're having a great day! Here is my card for today's SCS Inspiration Challenge!

I punched 9 different papers out of my Basic Grey "Eskimo Kisses" paper pad with my 1 1/4" square punch! :) I love that paper so much! You can now find it at Treehouse Stamps! :)

I added lots and lots of stickles to the elements of each of the different squares and even the scallop circle. The "Warm Holiday Wishes" is from Treehouse Stamps NEW "Cool Wishes" stamp set! I used my white gel pen to do faux stitching...and added white dots on the scallops & more glitter on top of them! There is a dimensional under the scallop!
